 I am always looking for fun things to do in the area.  I thought I would take it a bit further and see what events are occurring in North Carolina in a specific month.  Let's take a look at just a few things happening in July 2024 in NC that you may enjoy.



I live in the Raleigh/Durham area, so I looked for exciting events to attend in February that are easily within driving distance.  I would love to attend them all!

July 19-20 is the 46th Annual Wright Kite Festival in Kill Devil Hills NC

July 18-20th is the North Carolina Peach Festival in Candor NC

July 26-27 is the Hillbilly Jam in Maggie Valley NC

July 27th is the Dragon Boat Festival in Salisbury NC

Travel Blast From the Past-Linville Falls Winery in the Mountains of NC

This blast from the past was written back in 2016.  Wow, where does the time go?  I checked to make sure it is still open, and it is. Happy day! Linville Falls Winery After our somewhat strenuous hike down to the lower falls of Linville Gorge, Erica and I decided to reward ourselves with a visit to a local Winery,  Linville Falls Winery  All the way up the Gorge Trail on this somewhat warm fall day, we kept encouraging ourselves with the promise of wine and relaxation.  And it was just as we imagined...wonderful:-) Here is a description from their website.
