Inspirational Quotes-You Must Focus to See God's Light

Image
I found I could relate to this quote by Aristotle.  My divorce was the darkest time in my life.  The only way I could begin to see even a flicker of light was when I put my faith, my hope, and my fears in God's hands.   If you are on this journey, I hope you are able to see a light.  If not, keep looking, and you will because even though it may seem hidden, it is there. Life can be stressful; there is no doubt about that. I have started to look at ways to help us decrease our stress. Here is a stress relief method that I love...Reading! I began a series on stress relief because of the stress I endured with my divorce. There are countless ways to decrease our stress, and I will look at many. Here is a link to my introduction to this series. If you are interested, take a look. Stress Relief-Taking Care of You! Here is a quote regarding reading and stress relief that I found online..... "Reading worked best, outshining other stress-reduction techniques like listening to music, taking a walk or having a cup of tea. Food-Let's Try Buoy Bowls, A Food Truck Adventure

Image
For weeks all my daughter, Stephanie,  has talked about is Buoy Bowls .  She would go on about how wonderful they were.  She would stalk them to find out where they would be on what felt like a daily basis.  I finally gave in and said "Ok, I want to give them a try".  So off we went and I was not  disappointed. They were amazing. You will see quotes from their website in purple print, to match their truck:-) "Buoy Bowls is the end result of an obsession with Acai Bowls  that first started on a surf trip to San Diego, California in 2005. " "...he discovered the Acai Bowl- a bowl of frozen purred acai berries topped  with a variety of fresh fruit and honey. It was absolutely love at first bite!" "Our acai bowls and smoothies are made using the freshest organic and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible." As you can see Maggie loves them too... My favorite was the Surfs Up Bowl.  Chocolatey fruity goodness in a bowl.
