Sometimes I don't feel very productive. Often I feel like I am wasting time, spinning my wheels, and going nowhere. At times I like to see what others do to increase their productivity. And that is what I am going to do today. The first thing on her list is to  get up early.   I already do that. I am up walking the dog by 6 am, and many times I am up at 4 am. Just depends on the day.  I found this article by  12 Habits of Highly Productive People  Katie McLaughlin on Pinterest.  I find it so easy to be the opposite of productive, so I am always looking for helpful hints to add to my routine to be sure I can complete the tasks that need to be done.  I decided to pick two from her list to add to my routine. Here are the two habits I decided to add to my daily life. *A Dedicated Planning Time. I have all these thoughts of what I want to get done.  I find that to get things done, you need to plan it out and or in my case, write it down.  Now I will sit down with my morning cup of coffee and plan my daily and weekly goals. *Prioritize My To-Do List. " Things You Should Do Before Bed to Wake Up Refreshed and Productive " by Asian Efficiency Team I like to read articles on how to be more productive.  I came across this article on how to wake up refreshed and productive and decided to apply some of it to my life. I choose three suggestions from the list to apply to my life. Prepare Your Clothes for Tomorrow I have been meaning to do this for some time.  Sometimes I do and then again sometimes I don't.  I must admit it does make the morning less stressful because this habit helps you be more organized in the morning, less rushed and less frustrated.  This one I will adopt into my evening routine. Buy a more comfortable Mattress and Pillow. I am sad to say that my mattress is ancient.  I am talking decades.  It is lumpy and far from level.  It is past time to buy a new one, and I have been thinking about it for years.  I am going to look into this major purchase.
