Sunday Shopping on Amazon-What Equipment Will Help Us Make the Best Cheesecake?

It is Sunday again, and time to go Sunday Shopping on Amazon. Today we are going to focus on Cheesecakes.


I was talking with a friend. He said he is going to make me an Italian Dinner. I offered to make dessert and asked him what he would like. He said cheesecake. I have not made a homemade cheesecake in years, maybe decades, but I told him I would make an attempt. I am going to search Google for the best cheesecake recipes to find, hopefully, the perfect cheesecake recipe.

1-Wilton Excelle Elite Non-Stick Springform Pan, 9-Inch One thing you will need when attempting to make your favorite cheesecake recipes is a springform pan. This one looks like a very nice one to me.



2-KitchenAid 9-Speed Digital Hand Mixer with Turbo Beater II Accessories and Pro Whisk - Candy Apple Red A heavy-duty electric hand mixer will come in handy for this job. This will help you properly mix the cheesecake filling. Plus, this one is candy apple red, which I think is lovely.



3-KitchenAid KSM150PSER Artisan Tilt-Head Stand Mixer with Pouring Shield, 5-Quart, Empire Red Here is another option for an electric mixer. You could buy a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. Guess what? This one is red also.



4-Kaluns Silicone Spatula Set, 4 Rubber Spatulas 600°F Heat Resistant, Nonstick Seamless Design with Stainless Steel Core, Dishwasher Safe, BPA free, Bonus Tongs Included These very nice silicone spatulas will come in handy for scraping the sides of the bowl when making your delicate cheesecake. 



5-Fox Run Tart Tamper, Wood This tart tamper is a great way to make your buttery graham cracker crust an even crust.

6-Cuisinart 7117-14RR 14-Inch Chef's-Classic Cookware-Collection, Lasagna Pan w/Stainless Roasting Rack Many cheesecake recipes may instruct you to use a water bath. One type of container large enough to hold your springform cake pan is a large roasting pan. I like this one because it can provide a pan of hot water to place your pan, and it appears to be flat for the stable surface the cheesecake needs.


8-USA Pan Bakeware Half Sheet Baking Pan and Bakeable Nonstick and Cooling Rack Set, Metal So you have made your delicious creamy cheesecake. Now you need a place for your cheesecake to cool. Here is a nice wire rack to do just that.

Travel Blast From the Past-Linville Falls Winery in the Mountains of NC

This blast from the past was written back in 2016.  Wow, where does the time go?  I checked to make sure it is still open, and it is. Happy day!
