 This quote by Ava Du Vernay is accurate on many levels.  To succeed in this life and be happy, we can't continue to make the same mistakes or knock on the same door.  We can't continue to knock on the door of someone who damaged us and expect the situation to be different.  We can't continue to knock on the door of what we know we should not be and expect different results.  We have to choose a new positive path.   This takes commitment, courage, and determination, but we can do it.

Travel Blast From the Past-Linville Falls Winery in the Mountains of NC

This blast from the past was written back in 2016.  Wow, where does the time go?  I checked to make sure it is still open, and it is. Happy day! Linville Falls Winery After our somewhat strenuous hike down to the lower falls of Linville Gorge, Erica and I decided to reward ourselves with a visit to a local Winery,  Linville Falls Winery  All the way up the Gorge Trail on this somewhat warm fall day, we kept encouraging ourselves with the promise of wine and relaxation.  And it was just as we imagined...wonderful:-) Here is a description from their website.
