I know I had said I was going to plan a taco party for September, but I have decided to plan it for August.  In September, I think I will focus on a lobster dinner party.  As they say, it is a woman's prerogative to change her mind...and I do all the time:-)

I decided to have two types of salsa, a queso dip, and guacamole, to serve with the chips.  I am thinking about making the guacamole.

Two types of tacos...

1-Hard Shell Tacos– I recommend heating these in the oven, just for about 5 minutes on 300. This makes them flavorful, fresh and crispy!(Uno Casa)

2-Soft Shell Tacos-What's the main difference between a burrito and a soft-shelled taco? The main difference between burritos and soft tacos is their size - taco shells tend to be made in smaller corn or flour shells, while we almost always wrap our burritos with an extra-large flour shell (Uno Casa)

Here are some other ideas I found for your party decor.

• Use a collection of colorful bottles in various heights and shapes to hold flowers. Cluster them together for a bigger impact than if they were spread out across the table.
• Add potted cacti for an authentic southwestern touch. Place them on either side of the flower centerpiece.
