*Nov 17 is the 74th Annual Christmas Parade in Raleigh NC
*Nov 17 Christmas at North Hills in Raleigh NC
*Nov 17 is Tails at Twilight in Durham NC
Nov 14-National Pickle Day
Nov 15-I Love to Write Day
Nov 16-Teddy Bear Day
Nov 17-Homemade Bread Day
Nov 18-Apple Cider Day

Travel Blast From the Past-Linville Falls Winery in the Mountains of NC

This blast from the past was written back in 2016.  Wow, where does the time go?  I checked to make sure it is still open, and it is. Happy day! Linville Falls Winery After our somewhat strenuous hike down to the lower falls of Linville Gorge, Erica and I decided to reward ourselves with a visit to a local Winery,  Linville Falls Winery  All the way up the Gorge Trail on this somewhat warm fall day, we kept encouraging ourselves with the promise of wine and relaxation.  And it was just as we imagined...wonderful:-) Here is a description from their website.
