  I am always looking for fun things to do in the area.  I thought I would take it a bit further and see what events are occurring in North Carolina in a specific month.  Let's take a look at just a few things happening in Sept. 2024 in NC that you may enjoy.



I live in the Raleigh/Durham area, so I looked for exciting events to attend in September that are within driving distance.  I would love to attend them all!

Things to do in September 2024 in the Triangle Area


September 7-8th is NC Gourd Arts and Crafts Festival in Raleigh NC

September 14th is BugFest in Raleigh NC

September 19th is Candle Light Tribute to Taylor Swift at The Barn in Wake Forest NC

September 21st is Whiskey Wine and Fire in Cary NC

September 28-29th is The Parade of Homes in the Triangle NC

September 6-7th is the NC Hot Sauce Festival in Oxford NC

Aug 30-Sept 2nd is the North Carolina Apple Festival in Hendersonville NC

Three Weekends in September: The Land of Oz is open to the public in Beech Mountain NC

September 21 is the Creedmoor Music Festival in Creedmoor NC

September 27-28 is Benson Mule Days in Benson NC

Travel Blast From the Past-Linville Falls Winery in the Mountains of NC

This blast from the past was written back in 2016.  Wow, where does the time go?  I checked to make sure it is still open, and it is. Happy day! Linville Falls Winery After our somewhat strenuous hike down to the lower falls of Linville Gorge, Erica and I decided to reward ourselves with a visit to a local Winery,  Linville Falls Winery  All the way up the Gorge Trail on this somewhat warm fall day, we kept encouraging ourselves with the promise of wine and relaxation.  And it was just as we imagined...wonderful:-) Here is a description from their website.
