 So what have I posted on Youtube in the last week or so?  Let's take a look... I do occasionally do a Vlog on YouTube.  Here is my latest one.  It includes the books I am reading and books I plan to read, plus some family and other miscellaneous lifestyle info. But, of course, the best part was our trip to the beach...What fun!                                   Welcome to my reading and more Vlog for April 2021 What I spent time reading this week. The physical book that I am reading is The Gilded Girl by Alyssa Coleman.  It is a middle-grade book.  There is magic, and also a portrait of how unfair life can be, found in this book.  This book strongly connects to an old movie I say decades ago, "The Little Princess" with Shirley Temple.  It follows the theme of a girl who has everything placed in a boarding school while her father goes off to tend to other matters.  Suddenly the father of the girl and the source of income and thus payments to the school is suddenly presumed dead, and the school is no longer receiving payments.  The girl in both cases is no longer among the school elite and now must become a servant.  So far, it is a good read. I am listening to a book on Audible.  It is called The Drowning by Jennifer McMahon.  I am enjoying the read. I am about halfway through the book.  There is a d
