Monthly Motivation The Highwaymen "One Turn on the Trail"

I watched a movie called The Highway Men.  It is a good movie about two Highwaymen searching for Bonnie and Clyde.  One quote stood out to me in the movie, and it contained the words "one turn on the trail".  As this phrase was used I interpreted to mean that one decision, one turn on our path could change the trajectory of our lives.   

 The decisions we make could be deliberate or spur-of-the-moment decisions made with little thought. These paths that we take have consequences, and they could be good or bad depending on the decision. The outcomes, both good and bad, affect not only ourselves but also others. 

 Help us, Lord, to choose our paths wisely.  Help us to keep your plan in mind when we make choices. Help us be aware of how any decision we make can positively or negatively affect others.  If we make a mistake and take a wrong "turn on the trail," please gently guide us back to you.

A Recreated Outfit For September 2023-Fall Fashion Look I found on Amazon

I am so glad...fall is nearly here.  It has been a sweltering and humid summer, and yes, it is still that way today, but now that we have hit September, there is hope.   I love fall and winter weather and fall and winter fashion.  With that in mind, I have selected the September outfit I want to recreate.  I found the outfit on Pinterest.  I went to Amazon to see if I could recreate the look and will go into my closet to see if I can come close to creating the outfit.  What is nice about this look is that if it gets too hot outside, you can easily remove the sweater.
