Today, I am sharing a travel blast from the past.  Several years ago, I had the opportunity to visit Chimney Rock and the Village of Chimney Rock. What fun! In the article I mention that Burntshirt was coming well it is already there and it is very nice...Burntshirt

Entrance to Chimney Rock State Park is in Chimney Rock Village.

*Chimney Rock is a village in Rutherford County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 113 at the 2010 census. The village takes its name from a large granite outcropping located on a summit above the village itself in Chimney Rock State Park.

Yes, this tasting room is coming soon, Burntshirt Vineyards. 
Not sure when it will open but it will be beautiful.

 There is a Riverwalk.  A short walk along the river.  Photos coming soon.
If you find yourself in the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area,  I suggest you visit Chimney Rock Village.  You could walk the one road through the center of town.  Be sure to visit Chimney Rock State Park and walk the 500-plus stairs to the top.  It is beautiful.

A Recreated Outfit For September 2023-Fall Fashion Look I found on Amazon

I am so glad...fall is nearly here.  It has been a sweltering and humid summer, and yes, it is still that way today, but now that we have hit September, there is hope.   I love fall and winter weather and fall and winter fashion.  With that in mind, I have selected the September outfit I want to recreate.  I found the outfit on Pinterest.  I went to Amazon to see if I could recreate the look and will go into my closet to see if I can come close to creating the outfit.  What is nice about this look is that if it gets too hot outside, you can easily remove the sweater.
