NCMA Exhibit: Inspiring Beauty 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair

We have a fantastic museum here in North Carolina.  The North Carolina Museum of Art or for short NCMA, in Raleigh NC. I went with a Meetup group to an exhibit called Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair. It is a beautiful and inspiring exhibit, and if you get a chance, I suggest you attend.

I love the detail in this dress.  Beautiful!




At the end of the event, they have a virtual fitting room.  
Here you can scroll through and virtually try on several of the fashion items.  
Such fun!
Take advantage of the offerings of the museums in your area.  
There is so much to see, do, and learn.

    I love the NCMA! And I've heard great things about this exhibit - I need to pop over there before the exhibit ends! I'm so glad you made it to the exhibit and enjoyed it :)

A Recreated Outfit For September 2023-Fall Fashion Look I found on Amazon

I am so glad...fall is nearly here.  It has been a sweltering and humid summer, and yes, it is still that way today, but now that we have hit September, there is hope.   I love fall and winter weather and fall and winter fashion.  With that in mind, I have selected the September outfit I want to recreate.  I found the outfit on Pinterest.  I went to Amazon to see if I could recreate the look and will go into my closet to see if I can come close to creating the outfit.  What is nice about this look is that if it gets too hot outside, you can easily remove the sweater.
