It is wine Wednesday, and high time to share a wine tasting with a food pairing.  I am in a wine club called Naked Wines.  This club has wines from all over the world, and it is always an adventure to try a new wine. I am going to do my amateur tasting using the plan from my recent posts called My Basic Wine Tasting Technique.  After I have tasted and have given my opinion, I will look on the wine site to get the story of the wine from the experts.  It will be interesting to see if I get anything right. The Wine Sacchetto delle Venezie  Pinot Grigio 2020 Italian Wine and the winemaker is Paolo Sacchetto The grapes were grown at the foot of the Italian Alps.     Wine Tasting Visual-The color was pale yellow, and it was a clear wine. **This is a memory of the day I was baptized at CrossPoint Church. 2013** I remember distinctly the day I was baptized.   I was 18 years old.  A large group of us in a country field stood in front of a large pond.  We all lined up and then took turns being baptized through immersion into the cold pond water.  I remember it being a fantastic experience.  I was giving myself over to God. Here we are many years later.  Over those years, there has been great joy, lots of mistakes, and hopefully learning from each of them, the pain of illness and death, the birth of two beautiful girls, and the gift of Caleb, my grandbaby. Today I struggle with the pain of an unwanted separation and pending divorce, which to me, is like a death but with intent.  Through this trauma, I  have a greater appreciation of the gift of friends and the increasing knowledge of God's love for all of us. It seems that I come across so many terms that I am unaware of.  With this in mind and hoping that I am not alone in the dark, I decided to do an ongoing series on "What the Heck Is...?"  As I come across terms or things I don't understand, I will do a post to help us develop a basic understanding. I have heard people talk about Bitcoin for several years.  I was at a Meetup group where a man was going on and on about his Bitcoin and how much he has made with his cryptocurrency.  I could not join the conversation because I did not know what he was talking about.  So, for our first "What the Heck Is?"
