As you know I have joined two Meetup photo clubs. One of the clubs is having a monthly challenge. The month of August is a challenge for Macro or close up shots. I have taken a ton of photos with my macro setting. I can pick three pictures to enter in the challenge. Here are a few that I am considering. Please use your Critical Eye, look over the ones I have selected and then leave your opinion on the three that I should pick to enter in this months challenge....thanks for your help:-)
What a great time I had over the weekend with my good friend Melissa and my two combined photo clubs, The Triangle Photography Club, and the Raleigh Outdoor Photography Club. We met at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh NC.http://www.ncartmuseum.org/ If you have not been there in a while, like me, you will see some changes. New buildings and new sculptures. Very nice and its all free!!!:-)
Time seems to fly when I am taking pictures. Here are a few of my shots from the inside of the museum......
...and from the outside....
We had a great time. We headed from the museum to dinner and then to take pictures of Downtown Raleigh at night. (I am saving that for another post:-) Enjoy your world everyone and get out and take some pictures!
There is a shop I really enjoy called the "Shops of Baileywick" in Raleigh NC. http://www.theshopsofbaileywick.com/
It is a shop filled with shops. There are many different vendors with a variety of things to choose from. They have furniture, jewelry, stuffed animals, holiday ornaments, trinkets, pottery, the list is nearly endless. Here are a few pictures of what I found on my self guided tour through the Shops of Baileywick...... I love the birdie bookends:-)
Aisles and aisles of vendors!
There is something for everyone at the Shops of Baileywick. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Fun place to go for unique Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers:-)
I did not have any extra cash on this visit but several months ago I picked up a little mirror. It was unique and affordable so I could not resist....
So cute....I fell in love with it:-)
Enjoy your world everyone and go enjoy the Shops of Baileywick:-)
I had taken so many pictures this week that it was difficult for me to choose my photos of the week. I took pictures of my family in the Run Amuck. I have taken a ton of pictures for the macro shot challenge for my Triangle Photography Club. We went into DC on Sunday and took pictures of the DC Mall area. In short I had hundreds of pictures to choose from. My mind kept going back to my oldest Grandpuppy, Captain Morgan. Here is Morgan in his phases of sleep....
