Let's Try Coloring. Coloring Book Giveaway

Lately, I have been hearing a lot about coloring.  Not just the joy of children coloring but now adults are joining in the fun.  I do like to color.  When my grandson is over  we color together and I  tend to really enjoy it.  I just want to finish the entire children's book.  Just the other day a good friend mentioned that she wanted to start coloring.  What?  Coloring? So today I decided it's time for me to discover what the commotion is all about.  I went on Amazon and researched adult coloring books

and went to online news outlets to see what they had to say....If you are interested in any of the
books just click on the photo and it will take you to the link on Amazon.

Ok, so if I am going to color I need the proper tools...

I can't color without Caleb...

It has been a few days since I started thinking about the new coloring fad for adults.  Since then I have been to Michaels and picked up a book, I also found it on amazon...

I did not see the 3D aspect until I got it home.  Not really sure what that
is all about but the designs are very nice.  It is on amazon too for $7.52
My first photo, using colored pencils...
I have decided to host my first blog giveaway.  I will be giving away a new adult coloring book.  To be eligible to win you just need to post a comment in regard to why you think you would enjoy coloring.  Your name will be added to the pot and a winner will be drawn by my grandson Caleb the first week in Oct.
Here is the book I will be giving away.  I already have it and can't wait to send it to the winner of the giveaway.  Remember you have to comment to be placed in the drawing.  Good luck:-)

  3. I think I would enjoy coloring because I loved doing it as a kid. I'm now a "grown up" graphic designer who loves to do things with my hands in my spare time....crocheting, sewing, painting nails....I think coloring is a natural addition to my hobbies

  4. I've been hearing so much about these coloring books, too. I see we have some things in common because I used to color with my daughters when they were little and I used to enjoy it, too... :)
