Monday Morning Motivation...Happiness:-)

Today Stephanie and I went to the 9am service at Crosspointe Church in Cary. The focus was Matthew 5:1-10. The message, as always, was relevant to our lives today.

(In the greek blessed means happy or fortunate.)
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
 Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.
 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.
 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
    for they will see God.
 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
                                                                    (Matthew 5:1-10)

Here are some thoughts I took away from the sermon.
No matter who we are and in all of our imperfections Christ is active in our lives now, today, and always.
Happiness is available now because Christ is with us.
Unconditional love is a love that desires to be close without conditions.

(I am so glad that God accepts us as we are with all of our shortcomings. I am so "happy" that His is an unconditional love.  Thank you Lord:-)

Talk about happiness...

Happy Monday Everyone!
Enjoy Your World:-)

  1. It is wonderful that God accepts us just the way we are, with total unconditional love. That is true happiness.
