Exploring Kathiey's Local World. "Orange County ASPCA" Chapel Hill

Image
We are two households with 4 dogs between us.  They have added so much to our lives.  Let me introduce you...
This is Josh with Toby
and Steph with her Capt Morgan....

Erica with Roxy....

Here I am with my Brodie:-)

Joe and Brodie...

Of all of our dogs only one is a blue blood and that is Capt Morgan and he is wonderful....and he knows it:-)  The rest of our doggie family are very unique in breed and personality.  One of a kind.  I think you would be hard pressed to find anything similar in looks

These 2 have become best buds.
They were both adopted from the ASPCA of Orange County

Erica and I decide to take a drive to Chapel Hill to revisit the place where we found our puppies.  We ran by Target and bought a case of canned dog food to donate and off we went...

Restaurant Review...."Blue Ribbon Diner" Mebane NC

Image
A couple of weeks ago Erica and I found ourselves in Mebane NC.  It was lunch time, we were both hungry but as usual we had limited funds.  With that in mind we decided to split an entree at the Blue Ribbon Diner.  It's a cute little place, reminds me of the diner my Dad used to take me to in Dover DE.

Exploring Kathiey's Local World. "Duke Lemur Center" Durham NC

Image
Last weekend I had the opportunity to go with one of my photo groups to Duke Lemur CenterIn Durham NC.  Here is quote from their website....
"...Duke Lemur Center was established in 1966 and today is the world’s largest sanctuary for rare and endangered prosimian primates.   Nestled on 85 acres in Duke Forest, the Lemur Center houses about 250 animals, including 233 lemurs encompassing 15 species, along with lorises from India and Southeast Asia and bushbabies from Africa".
So off I went camera in hand......

One of our very nice guides...

As we headed to the nocturnal building our photo leader said we needed to change our ISO...?  Ummm, what is an ISO anyway?
As you can see I did not change my ISO?:-)
